Friday, October 30: Beef Vigil

Ab ca 11 Uhr 30
  • - Apero in der Kantine beim Stall-Zelt, anschliessend Lunch, grosser Saal del Castillo ab ca. 12 Uhr 30, in Partnerschaft mit Handels-Industrie- und Gewerbeverein Vevey. 
Ab 16 Uhr
  • Öffnung der Gewölbe - und Weinkeller (Rue des Deux-Marchés) Keller St-Martin und Keller Scanavin. Thema "Engel und Dämonen". Musik und Verpflegungmöglichkeit. DJ Smog
  • Die Weinkeller in den Gewölben bleiben bis 01 Uhr morgens geöffnet.
Ab 16 Uhr
  • B4Beef Party im grossen Saal del Castillo, wie gehabt, heissen Drinks für coole Leute, gedämpfte Musik.
Ab 18 Uhr
  • - Lichterumzug der Kinder. Start auf dem Platz des 14. Juni (vor dem Manor-Center Vevey).
  • - Grenette ; Bratwürste, Suppe, spezielle Süssigkeiten, Vorverkauf der Portionen "Ochs am Spiess, Gratin" und "Papet Vaudois saucisses aux choux".

Ab ca. 18 Uhr 45
  • Konzert der Musikgesellschaft "La Lyre" und dem portugiesischen Fado-Chor "Tuna Helvetica" in der Grenette.
Die ganzeNacht
  • Dreht sich der Ochse über dem Holzkohle-Feuer. 

Saturday, October 31: Fair Day

 

From 7am
  • Announcement of the Fair with the Fifres and Drummers of Basel (from 7am).
  • Opening of the stands spread between the Old Town and the Market Square.
9am - Attention new schedule!
  • Departure of the traditional Grand Parade with farm animals through the city center (from Entre-Deux-Villes) with the participation of His Excellency Saint-Martin, the Vaud Militia on horseback, and Musketeers with drums, the Fifres and Drummers of Basel, classes from the Schools of Vevey, etc.

  • Opening of the canteen - Grilled sausages.
10:00am
  • Ceremony of the Brotherhood of St. Martin, including: Proclamation of the opening of the Fair, speech of the Brotherhood, message from the Authorities, from the sponsor, sharing of Saint Martin's cloak, inauguration of Sisters and Brothers.
    - In front of the Salle del Castillo -
11am - 1pm
  • Public opening of the Saint-Martin Cellar (Rue des Deux-Marchés 3) & the Cellar of the Hundred Swiss.
11:30am
  • Demonstration of the milking of cows (towards the animal tent).

  • Services:
    roast beef - gratin (Grenette)
    Vaud-style Papet (Galeries du Rivage + Salle del Castillo)
3pm
  • Return in parade of animals along the Perdonnet quay
  • Musical entertainment under the Grenette by Les Inoxydables (until 5pm)
4pm
  • The 4 o'clock of Saint-Martin, at the Galeries du Rivage, with entertainment
4pm
  • Proclamation of the results of the "Vaud Alpine Cheese Contest" at the Galeries du Rivage, by the SVEA
6pm
  • Closing of the Fair.

  • AfterBeef Party - DJ Sets under the Grenette with Vibration-Events. Free entry, light show, cocktail bar & hot dogs. Ends around 12am

Sunday, November 1st: Saint Martin's Brunch

In partnership with Vaud Promotion, the Brotherhood of Saint Martin is pleased to offer you the second BRUNCH DE LA SAINT-MARTIN at the Galeries du Rivage!

Doors open at 11:15 AM, brunch from 11:30 AM to 3 PM

Tickets will be on sale soon.

On the menu, tradition, local produce, and regional products!

Returnable dishes

Returnable tableware will be used in our cafeterias. Donate the amount of your deposit!

Heating

We will no longer install gas heating, dress warmly!

Transports

Expect traffic disruptions during the Fair. Use public transportation!

Weather

The Fair takes place whatever the weather!

Payment on site

Cash/cards/twint at the stands managed by the Confrérie. Each stand then has its own payment solutions.

WC

Public toilets available at Place Scanavin or Jardin du Rivage.
